Reminder that April 21st (Muster) is quickly approaching. This year San Antonio Aggies will have two locations available to come together and celebrate: Aggie Park and for those living further North and can not get to Aggie Park, La Paloma Norte Resturant. Aggie Park, as we all know, is located on 410 and West Avenue and La Paloma Norte at the intersection of Bulverde Rd and Evans Rd, in the same shopping center as the CVS. Please plan to attend Muster at one of these two locations. Several TAMHN-SA members plan to attend La Paloma Norte event.
The Aggie Band, the Fish Drill Team, and maybe Parson's will participate in the Fiesta Parade. Like last year the SA Aggie Club hosted the Band; catered meals and bevarages at Aggie Park. At the March meeting the SA Club asked for contributions to defray the costs. Therefore, Jose recommended to the TAMHN-SA attendees to consider contributing $200-$400. After discussing the matter the group voted to contribute $400. Jose will give the check to the Club at their April 13th meeting.
The group would like Francisco to recommend to Hector Cavazos and David Flores (Houston) they invite Trey Martinez-Fisher and/or Senator Urriste- Chairmen of the respective Hispanic Caucasus to the September Summit. More to follow.
Jose will forward a msg from TAMU-San Antonio reference the availability of parade seats sponsored by TAMUSA. Please consider getting seating reservations from TAMUSA.
Jose will provide the SA Chapter with information on what is a TIER 1 school and why this status is important in our recruitment efforts.
